When you get your Fibre Optics Broadband connection installed for the first time, it helps to be present so you can kindly ask the engineer to place the Fibre Router where you really want it.  The engineers work for subcontractors who in turn do work for all the Telecommunications firms in Spain, and in reality their obligation is to simply install the Fibre connection anywhere inside the property (usually at the point ion entry in the property).  At Direct Telecom we have good relationships with many engineers, and usually they don’t mind staying a little longer to position the Fibre where you really want it.

If you are thinking of relocating your Fibre Optics router to another location of your property, the safest and recommended option is to arrange for a technician to do this.
However, if you like DIY and feel comfortable feeding a Fibre cable through the internal trunking in your walls, maybe you could give this a shot.
